Introduction
The different salts of Baryta are called for in organic lesions of the aged and dwarfish, mentally and physically. It covers arterio-sclerosis, cerebral affections, old-age headache, vertigo from cerebral anaemia, rectal and muscular stiffness, hypertension, vascular degeneration and increased pulse tension.

Key Symptoms
Narrowing of cardiac orifice with pain after eating, epigastric tenderness, aneurism, chronic enlarged tonsils, convulsions, sexual mania, icy coldness with paralysis and loss of voluntary muscular power while the mind remains clear.

Compare Plumbum metallicum, Plumbum iodatum and Aurum muriaticum in sclerotic degenerations of spinal cord, liver and heart. Dose: third trituration; bears repetition well.
