Introduction
Specially indicated in infancy and old age. It helps scrofulous children who are backward mentally and physically, dwarfish, do not grow, take cold easily and then always have swollen tonsils. It is also useful in degenerative conditions of old people, arterial changes, enlarged prostate, indurated testes, offensive foot-sweats, weakness, fear of strangers, posterior nasal catarrh with epistaxis, glandular disease, aneurism and senility.

Mouth and Throat
Gums bleed and retract; mouth has inflamed vesicles and foul taste; paralysis of tongue. Submaxillary glands and tonsils swollen. Takes cold easily with smarting pains. Quinsy and suppurating tonsils from every cold. Can swallow liquids only; spasm of oesophagus and choking.

Stomach and Abdomen
Waterbrash, hiccough and eructations relieve pressure as of a stone. Hungry but refuses food. Pain and weight after meals. Hard, tense, distended abdomen; enlarged mesenteric glands and habitual colic.

Swollen glands in nape; fatty tumors about neck; spinal weakness. Cold clammy feet, fetid foot-sweats, numbness of limbs, sore toes and soles, joint pains and burning in lower limbs.
